Although At that time she didn’t know what that would look like today at age 32 she can truly say she has found her purpose. “I failed, I have fallen and I have cried myself to sleep and I stood up and tried again time and time again. It was not until I was faced with depression and the feelings of hopelessness and not wanting to feel miserable that I decided to heal from with in. I didn’t know what it looked like but I knew i would do what ever it took to feel alive, happy and passionate about life which I truly believe it is our God given right.” After been diagnosed with Clinical depression in 2006 and with the lack of resources for undocumented women of color to help her on her journey she decided to take matters into her own hands and found resources outside of traditional therapy that would help her.
